Proudly present to you...(Drum rolls)

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The squeakquel

From left to right: Simon, Alvin, Theodore

The storyline was nothing fantastic. In simple words, there's no up and down. Perhaps because this show is meant for the kids as well. If its to chim, I doubt they will understand. Nevertheless, I still like the show. They are so cute that all the flaws of the show are covered up.

I like Alvin mischievousness and Theodore cuteness. Arg. Theodore is super duber cute!!
One of the mischievous acts of alvin (not the exact dialogue)...
Dave: It's time to sleep now.(Switch off the light)
Alvin: But I'm not tired yet. (Switch on the light)
Dave: But you have school tomorrow.(Switch off the light)
Alvin: But i'm not tired yet. (Switch on the light)
Dave: (Limp in). But you have to go to bed.(Stepped on the skateboard and slipped)
Alvin: (opps) I suddenly feel so tired now. (Switch off the light)
Theodore big butt always got stucked when they were climbing in and out of holes..

Now, I have 2 CHIPS AND 2 DALES at home. They can formed Alvin and the Chipmunks!!!

Proudly present to you...

From left to right: Big dale, big chip, small dale (small chip is somewhere at home)

Merry Xmas to all! =)

This year christmas celebration was rather different from the past. What's different? The place I celebrated christmas at.
e
Went Msia on Christmas Eve and spent a night over there. Although there are only 6 of us (Qiang, vince, ju, jing, andrea and I), we had lots of fun! Egg tarts, bubble tea, zi char - salted egg yolks crab, salted chicken, kang kong, butter sotong, fu rong egg, dim sum! Lots and lots of food and I quite like the zi char although some of the dishes are that little bit of salty. On a side note, with all the gatherings and together with the festive seasons, my toning up cum slimming down aim seem to be unachievable at all. In just one week, I ate crab thrice! Instead of feeling my fats burining, I can see them forming up. Arg..

Back to the our trip to msia. Went Ju's house and we were totally crazy on WII. It was my first time playing with that machine and I loved it. I dont like PS because most of the games are strategy, fantasy, fighting games. But for WII, all the animations and games are so cute. The games are so stupid and require little thinking! Thats why I like it. Haha. WII-ed for the entire night, pausing inbetween for our count down session. Exchanged gifts and here's what all of us bought:
Qiang: An expensive box with a not that cute bear (Ju recieved it)
Vince: A pair of hello kitty chopsticks (Qiang recieved it)
Ju: Magnetic board game (Vince got it!)
Jing: A super gigantic lollipop ( Ms Tan got it and I can actually give to my kids)
Andrea: Chocolate (Jing got it and she dont the taste of it at all..poor her..)
ME: Zebra metallic mini pen (Andrea got it and hope she likes it)

Slept at 4am (the three gers got to sleep on the bed, while ju slept with his sis and the other two poor souls have to squeezed on the sofa) and woke up at 1030. Brunch together, WII together and its home sweet home. NO JAM AT ALL!!!

It has been a long time since I went to that place. In fact, I only went to his house for less than 5 times (twice with 204 ppl, including this time). Saw some of the little things which I have given him lying around. Memories.:)

I'm too lazy to update on my Hong Kong trip but since I'm kind of free now, I shall blog about other stuff.

Went JB with Ju on Thurs and we talked about what our other friends are doing. Realised that at this age, especially during university or after graduation, alot of people start to get pretty busy with life. They start to pursue what they like, what they want themselve to be or maybe just a very simple goal like buying a car or getting a house for marriage.

Alot of people would have planned what they want to work as before they choose a course to study in uni or otherwise, decide the field they want to go to during their course of study in uni. Most of them study hard or work hard to pursue their dreams and goals. They fully utilise the time they have, doing things they enjoy doing, spending each and every minute of their life meaningfully.

Thats when I start to question myself. What are my dreams and goals in my life? It struck me hard when I realised that Ive got no idea on where I want to head to at all.

Throughout my life, Ive always spend most of my time sleeping, watching tv and maybe online. I would say that more than half a day (>12 hours) will be spent on the above activities. In the long run, I would have wasted half of my life away.

At this age, I realise I shouldnt lead such life anymore. I might not know where I want to head to but I will try to make every minute of my life meaningful. The following are something which I will do next year:

1) I might not be one of the best teachers in Singapore but I will try hard to complete my contract and get into NIE. I will strive to be a good teacher although now, I admit that I'm still not a good and capable one. .
2) I decided to take up 2 tuition like before. I know next year my schedule will be busy and most probably I will have to work until late afternoon. However, I know that I will still be able to give tuition like before if I spend less time watching TV, sleeping or playing the computer. You will never know how much you can stretch until you have tried it. I believe I can make it.
3) No more excuses for no time to exercise. I will jog twice a week, once on weekday and once on weekend.
4) I might take up some courses during hols. Guitar (something which I want to learn 10000 years ag0), cooking (i kind of like making dishes but i hate the washing part), yoga or pilates.

I shall come out with a resolution for next year soon.

Hong Kong Day 2 Part 1
Early in the morning, we went to Li Yuen Street East and Li Yuen Street West hoping to dig some gems over there. To our dismay, theres nothing much to buy. The two older ladies each bought a pair of shoes though. If I never remember wrongly, its hkd98. So not that cheap cos its just normal plain covered shoes.

After the boring morning, we took a long bus ride to Repulse Bay. The sand is not really smooth and the place is filled with tourists. Not really a peaceful beach. Nevertheless, beaches are always beautiful.

All six of us!!! As you can see, the shorter lady is of cos my mother. Haha

The big Guan Yin Ma at Repulse Bay. Its really gigantic!

Spot my brother and my father.. The chinese words on the bridge actually means longevity.

More on day 2 in my next post.

Hong Kong Trip Day 1

After my graduation trip in May, I've been wanting to get out of Singapore to go to another country. However, it never cross my mind that I will be going overseas again this December. This time round, besides going overseas with my friend, my parents, brother, andrea's mother, andrea and I decided to embark on this journey together, the journey to Hong Kong.

Took Jetstar flight. Yes, again! Simply because it's the cheapest. The flight was delayed and we only arrived in Hong Kong at around 8pm. The smart alex, opps, is smart andrea, went to declare that she had flu and in the end, she was send to another office to have her temperature taken. Also barred from entering, I was caught to another waiting area cos my face looks too different from my passport photo and they asked me to wait while they check my identity. ARGG..I shouldnt have used that formal wear photo. It's giving me trouble all the time.

After all the waiting, we arrived at our lodging place at 10pm. Had a quick dinner nearby and went to sleep.

Went shopping with Stephy today. Steph, thanks for asking me out arh.. Both of us spend almost close to 100bucks today!!!

Bought a dress at the flea market. I thot the length was ok but when I try it at home, its super duber short. Luckily the skirt can go with a legging.

My loots:
1) Dress: $15
2) Bio-essence hydra spa energy light moisturising lotion: $18
3) Bio-essence hydra spa energy intensive moisturising cream: $18
4) Silk Whita Mask (7s): $14
5) Bio-essence Tanaka White Mask (1s): $3.90

Currently using bio-essence tanaka white products. Since my skin from head to toe is dry and I dont mind being dark, I decided to give the new series a try. It claims to be super moisturising. So it better be good.

Tried the silk whita mask before and its quite effective. So decided to stock up cos its 1.90 now instead of 5.90. Been using mask once every two days cos my skin from head to toe is very dry (some parts even peeling) after my trip to hong kong. Do try it cos even stephy gave positive feedback on the mask.

It's been quite some time since i bought so many things at one go. =p
