No longer a student!

Convocation was on Monday. The ceremony itself was pretty boring as we had to wait for everyone to go up the stage before we were dismissed. Photo-taking was fun though. All the friends made during the 3 years there. =)

First day of work on Tuesday. Quite lost as I dont know what I should do or have to do. Followed my mentor to her class to look at how EBS is conducted. Im surprised that it is actually a subject about marketing. No wonder Im asked to teach that. Sat in for two lessons and I found out that the 4NT is very guai while the 3NT is super rowdy. Faint!

Went for a course yesterday and half way through the course, I was down with a fever. I thought it was only a mild fever but when I measured my temperature upon reaching home, I realised that my temperature was 39 degree. Got two days MC.

Definitely not a good sign for having fever on the first week of work. Luckily, my fever is gone now.

Recieved the school posting. Neighbourhood school but Julian's friend who is currently working there said that the students there are pretty obedient. Muahaha. Super near my house as well.

Went to cut my hair yesterday. I wanted to shorten the length because the tips of my hairs gone haywire. Who knows, a disaster happened!

Hairdresser: You want shorten your fringe anot?
Me: Ok lor. Shorter abit.

The next moment when I opened my eyes (you always shut your eyes when they cut your fringe right), I have a bang cut. My face is super round and I look like some Ah Gong! Argg.. But my hair (everywhere except the fringe) is so much better than before. Sad to say, my Q mao is coming back to haunt me. One of the staff even commented that I have indian curls! I think if she sees SQ or Jing hair, she might just faint! Haha. My hairdresser is really brave to cut short so much because normally Q mao people shouldnt shorten their hair or else theres not much weight to pull the Q-ness down. =(

Another comment make by the staff who was blowing dry my hair.

Staff: Where you schooling at?
Me: Oh. I just graduated.
Staff: Wow!
Me: Two weeks later starting work. Becoming a teacher.
Staff: WOW! You look so young. Thought you still schooling. With your face, you sure kena bully by the students.

Argg. At least I have the teacher look k. My brother's friend and my project groupmates told me before. Haha. Professional Ms Tan.

Went jogging just now. I think I haven been exercising for 3-6 months. I can only recall playing beach vball and frisbee at sentosa about two months back. But it didnt consume much of my energy and burn away my fats.

Only managed to jog around 1.6km and it actually took 15 mins. I shall jog more before work starts. Hehe. Growing horizontally cos I have been eating, sleeping, eating and sleeping this few months. =(

Oh. N im proud that I swept the floor today and cook a simple dinner for my parents and myself. Muahaha...

Its 240am and the piggy Gekeng is still awake! All thanks to the sudden blocked nose followed by flu. Arg. Its been ten thousand years since I slept so late. I can still remember the coughing period when I slept at 3+am everday and to make it worse, its the exam period. Maybe because of that, I did quite well for that semester. So should I thanks my cough bug? But please dont let the flu virus tag me because I still wana enjoy my nua-ing period.

Flu flu go away. Never ever come again.Little chicky wants to play...

My gor gor got a job! Its at ST Electronics. Supposed to work for MRT. Nope, not as a ticketing officer. Haha. Supposed to be involved in the building of the remaining MRT circle line. Testing the electricity of the track or mrt or something like that. The pay is pretty good, even higher than mine. So the two Tan family uni grads are officially declared as employed!! Happy!

Hes starting work next week. For the next two weeks, I will be staring at the ceiling at home. No more kakis for lunch and late night playing with our beloved soft toys at night (Currently he is bunking in my room for dont know what reason. Must be missed his cute little sister. Muahaha). I think in the entire universe, only my brother will play with those cuties with me at home. All of you must be jealous right..Haha

Its a sleeping, watching TV, online, eating and tuition routine. And of cos, plus a few occasional outings! Omg. Cant believe I have NUA at home for 2 months and I have one more month to go. Nua-ing is definitely shiock but it can really make a person super lazy. Imagine sleeping at 130am and waking up at 930am. Napping at 2+pm..omg..luckily, my metabolism is high(stephy said this can be seen from a person speaking speed and indeed, i speak lk a bullet train). Otherwise, I will be a fat fat pig now!
