Finally the end of year examination period is overFor the past few days, my life was all about invigilating, marking and giving tuition. Once I reached home, I will take my dinner, watched some TV/ continue marking and KO-ed at 10pm. Sooo tireddd. But theres still a great sense of achievement because I have marked a set of EBS paper which consist of 120 marks, 4 sets of Sec 1 Express Mathematics Paper 1 and 3 sets of Sec 1 Normal Academic Mathematics Paper 1. My first time marking exam papers! Tedious work!

On a happier note, I had my virgin experience at holland village last friday. Went to essential brew. The review on the restaurant was kind of over-rated. All of us agreed that the food was only so-so. After that, we went to have a drink and chit-chatted until 12! Almost missed the last train back. All in all, a nice place to chill out at. =)

Something to share and remind me why I like to be in this line. I had to do summary notes for all the chapters in the EBS textbook for the graduating class (a class which is not taught by me) so that it is easier for them to revise for their N'Level. I spent alot of time doing them and even complained during the process of doing. One day, while walking to the kopitiam opposite school for lunch, one of the graduating students saw me. She turned her way back and said thank you to me for making notes for them. It touched my heart because that student did appreciate what I have done for them. I guess for all teachers, a simple thank you for your students will make all your effort and time spend on them worth it!
