When theres no more tears, it means that you have totally given up.

Went to my school's public performance at RP yesterday evening. A colleague, papa of two, joined me and another gal in the queue. After some chit-chatting, he suddenly ask "why never bring you bf along?" I realised that at this stage of my life, people are more interested in my relationship status than my well being.

When we were young, having to sit beside the opposite sex disgust us. All the little boys and girls will just go "eeek.. i don't want". Then when teachers asked us to hold the partner's hand (when we were young, my teachers like to pair one boy and one girl together and i have no idea why), we will just hook one of our fingers together. It's like as if holding his hand will make him my boyfriend. As we grow up, in our late teens, we hope to have that special one by our side. When we reached adulthood, in the early 20s, we realised that there are many other things you can do in life besides getting into a relationship. You are busy with your studies, with work or just pursuing your dream or doing something which you like. When you reached late 20s and you are still single, you will be worried that you might remain single for your whole life and you start to hope that the special person will appear infront of you. Don't you guys agree?

I'm currently leading such a busy life that I feel that I have no extra time for any other things. I have my career and I am enjoying my work. I love my kids, almost all of them. Though always complaining about having to go tuition after work or on saturday morning, I still love my tuition kids, all 3 of them (especially the little indian boy, quite naughty at times, who never fail to bring me joy when i teach him). My mon to sat are always filled up with activities and my life seems to be more fulfilling although I have lesser time for myself.

Conclusion: I'm currently at the early 20s stage. What about you?
