Next week will be my last week of contract teaching.

Initially, I wanted so badly to get out of this school and get into NIE. However, now, I so badly want to stay in my current school. I dont feel excited about my new phase of life. I dont really want to be a student again.

I will miss all my students in the school. I will miss colleagues, my mentors. I will miss my work station. I will miss my netball girls. I guess I will miss everything. However, I do know that a starting will always come with an ending. My contract teaching life is coming to an end.

On another side note, I am glad that I can finally open myself up. Besides my JC classmates and my besties who know my story well, I never ever shared my private affairs with my other friends. Whenever someone asked me about my past relationships, I will just give a very vague answer because I feel that I need not tell them what I have been through. Recently, I get along very well with this colleague of mine. I am surprised that I told her everything about myself. She too told me about herself.

I never work with her and I never talk to her before last year. We only started talking and crapping this term. With all the talking and crapping, we got to know each other more and more. I'm glad that at the age of 23, I still can find someone whom I can confide in. My life in contract teaching will end in a week. I do hope that this friendship will not come to a full-stop.

Friends are easy to find but good friends are hard to find. To my besties, despite our busy working life now, I do believe that we will always be there for each other.
