Two weeks had past so quickly. From dragging to go work attachment to a routine of going changi airpot. Now, it is time for us to say goodbye. This is the first time i dun regret the time that I had spent. Knowing that it will only be a short while, two weeks, i treasure every single minute in the office. Even if im staring in space, i still enjoy sitting there and observing the enviornment and people around me. After experiencing office life for 2 weeks, i finally know what i want to be in te future. I want to work in an office environment and most probably choose to becum a civil servant. Looking at how I-Lyn work and how other staffs work there, Im inspired to study hard and get a good degree so that I can be as good as them. This two weeks are really a memorable one to me. I really enjoyed the time spent there. When we are able to go home just now, I have a sense of sadness gushing to my mind. I concluded that im sad to leave that place and I will miss it.
Today, we are quite free in the office becos we really dun haf anythn to do liao. Hence we offered help to mdm lau and we help her to do some scanning work. I also decorated the card that we bought for them. After that we went to lunch at level 3. went to try the marry brown and e food was nt nice at all. Went back to office to rehearse our presentation. Den I-Lyn came and ask us to present to her and Kheng Kwang in 10 mins time. Was quite nervous then cos our presentation is quite short and brief. We end up kana bombarded with questions that Kheng Kwang asked. However, it was a great experience la. We then bid farewell to everybody by giving a pen with their names on it and chocolates to the people we are close with. They are Heng Seng, Phoon, Mdm Lau Christina, Kheng Kwang and Linda. For I-Lyn, we gave her a box. Inside the box, there are one pen, two small soft toys with sound inside, 4 chocolates and paper cranes. The box was an idea of mine. Hehe. Think that most of them like the pen very much cos it is from our heart. We make for them ourselve. Happy that they like our gift. I-Lyn then bought us t the forecast station cos we thought it would rain. Endup, the radar show that the wind will blow the clouds away and will not rain in Changi. Dissappointed. For this two weeks, we did not see the live operation before becos it always never rain when we are there. We stay there for one hour. Asking her some personal queations and some weather questions. It will be the last time we go into that place and I tink that bot hung loong and me will miss it cos we stood there for so long without getting bored.haha. After that, we went home after saying the last goodbye to them. On my way walking tothe station, i start to feel that the long journey to the station no longer look long.It seems so short. The MRT journey bought back alot of memory to me. The 10 morning when had to squeeze with the working adult and wearing office wear, when we are looking forward to what we will be doing when we reach there. The 10 evenings when we had to wait 7 mins for the train to depart from changi. The clouds we so often look at after we know how to admire them. The places at the East side, schools, buildings, flats. Everything. All this will now be a memory of mine. A happy memory. An unforgtten memory. A good memory.
I want to thank you Mr Goh for getting MSD as a work attachment plasce and letting me get in. I want to thank you I-Lyn for her teaching and guidance and the treats she gave us. I want to thank you Heng Seng for his comments and advise. I want to thank you Mdm Lau for talking to us and keeping us accompany when we are bored. I want to thank you every staff. I want to thank you Hung Loong for bearing with me this 2 weeks.
I will miss NEA, National Environment Agency, MSD, Meteorological Service Division, Met. headquarters( my office), changi airport and all the staff there.
I sincerely wish them all the best and may God Bless Them.
